We offer help and practical advice to those wanting to improve their property – whatever the reason. Our consultations often herald the start of life-changing projects, and we can be as involved as much or as little as required after the initial visit. Master House Doctor Consultant...
Our stylist, Lynn Pick, has trained with and worked alongside Ann Maurice, TVs House Doctor, for many years, and helped to launch her House Doctor Network – training, mentoring and assessing potential new consultants. Lynn is a Master Consultant herself on the network.
Lynn’s BSc degree was in Hotel Management, and she also has several years of retail management under her belt. But 20 years ago, she was inspired by the House Doctor to train in property presentation. The transition was smooth – presenting products in a creative display increased profitability, whether the products were items arranged in a window display, or accessories arranged in a house!
The Home Makeovers team...
If you need help completing your home makeover project locally, we have our own handy-man and decorator, and have a close relationship with other local trades and suppliers. You’re under no obligation to use our team though, Lynn is happy to work with your own tradesmen.

Lynn has appeared in various magazines and newspapers, and has been on BBC Radio Derby numerous times, discussing numerous topics ranging from handbag clutter, how clutter makes you fat, fashionable decluttering, roofs collapsing because of clutter… through to home staging success stories.
