House Doctor Service – One-day

Following a 3-hour consultation, the homeowner’s family spent a couple of days in the house, tidying-up, painting the kitchen, and modernising the bathroom. A week later, I returned for a house doctor / photograph day, which involved me working my way around the house, styling it for the photographs and taking the photos when the light was just right.

There were still some comments from potential buyers that the house felt outdated, and we couldn’t do much more to counteract this apart from fully replace the kitchen, replace all the furniture in every room, add an ensuite to the master bedroom and remove an internal wall to create a family diner, but the cost of this would be far more than I would recommend for a home staging project, and the inconvenience to the elderly homeowner would be unbareable as she was selling in order to downsize.
