Over 20 years ago I was inspired by TV’s House Doctor, Ann Maurice, and trained with her in property presentation.  I helped to launch her House Doctor Network and was a Master Consultant – training, mentoring and assessing potential new consultants. 

Meanwhile, my own home makeover and decluttering company went from strength to strength and over the years I have helped hundreds of clients to declutter and improve their properties. My Portfolio shows many properties that were stuck on the market (some for over a year) yet sold instantly once presented correctly.

When I moved to Wiltshire a few years ago, I was delighted to find many new clients here with exciting property dilemmas, but what really humbled me was that many of my “old” clients didn’t want to let me go! After  spending several months travelling up and down the country, to physically attend to all the new projects they “couldn’t do without me”.

I developed a more online approach, and became The Home Makeover Coach. As you can see from my selection of Testimonials, everyone is still delighted with my personalised services, and distance really isn’t a barrier. I was absolutely over the moon recently to be contacted by an “old” client, who’s young son ‘helped’ me with their makeover – he is now a young man with his own property, and we are now working together to update it!

I have appeared in various magazines and newspapers, and have featured on BBC Radio numerous times, discussing topics ranging from handbag clutter, the relationship between clutter and weight gain, fashionable decluttering techniques, collapsing ceilings caused by clutter… and some great home staging success stories.
