Over 20 years ago, I was inspired by TV’s House Doctor, Ann Maurice, and trained with her in property presentation. I helped to launch her House Doctor Network and became a Master Consultant, training, mentoring and assessing new consultants.

Meanwhile, my own home makeover and decluttering business went from strength to strength, and over the years I have helped hundreds of clients declutter and improve their properties. My Portfolio includes many homes that had been stuck on the market—some for over a year—but sold quickly once they were presented properly.

When I moved to Wiltshire a few years ago, I was delighted to find so many new clients with exciting property dilemmas. What really humbled me, though, was that many of my existing clients simply didn’t want to let me go! After spending months travelling up and down the country to work on projects they insisted they couldn’t manage without me, I realised there had to be a better way. That led me to develop a more flexible online service and become The Home Makeover Coach.

One of my favourite moments was recently hearing from a former client whose young son had “helped” me during their family makeover. He’s now a homeowner himself, and we’re working together to transform his own property.
