Garden makeovers for selling: It’s so easy to forget to keep the garden tidy when you’re selling your house, especially in winter. But potential buyers won’t be able to imagine how good it will look in the summer, if all they can see now is a mess. Remove empty plant pots, jet wash patios and pathways, remove children’s toys, add some seasonal colour with a few suitable plants etc and make a good impression. When you're selling a house, the outdoor space is equally as important as the indoor. Just finish it all off nicely. Don't forget the outside of your house when you are preparing it for sale! When you're in a rush to sell your home, it's easy to concentrate your efforts on the house itself. Especially in winter when the garden is so boring! But displaying a well-kept garden and showing all external areas at their best will add real value when your house goes up for sale. Which garden would you prefer to take on? This is much more appealing.
