A beautiful, exclusive 18th Century Grade ll listed period farm house, in a picturesque rural village. The 5-bedroom house is light and spacious, over three floors, with an enclosed south facing walled garden.

But it had an identity crisis as the layout of the house is unique, with numerous options for dividing the house to suit many family requirements.  Clusters of rooms could be connected to create separate suites on the top floor, middle and even downstairs with a separate shower room and entrance.  So I had to consider a layout that would appeal to many viewers.

I created a top floor suite with 3 connecting rooms and an ensuite, and a middle floor with two Master bedrooms and a further single bedroom / study.

In addition, I also dressed the modern family bathroom and three further bath/shower rooms, a huge fitted kitchen and the sunny breakfast room.  I even had fun restyling the children’s playhouse outside!

This is one of the most versatile homes I have seen, and I wanted it to appeal to various families for different reasons. “Boomerang kids”, elderly relatives, young families, teenagers, tenants etc etc etc.  All of this increased the saleability.

The farmhouse looks amazing.  Lynn was here for the Open Day, and her love of the house and enthusiasm for its versatility had all the viewers captivated.
